To be eligible, an applicant must – 

• be a girl child
• be studying in Classes 1 to 10
• have secured at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in the previous class of study
• have parents’ combined monthly income of less than INR 15,000

Benefits

• INR 5,000 each for a full year will be given to 300 selected girl children across India.

Eligibility

  • the student will not/has not received any other scholarship
  • the student has not taken admission through management/convenor quota or any other quota 
  • the student’s family income from all sources is not more than INR 3,50,000 per annum

Eligibility

• This option is open for students belonging to economically poor families for pursuing higher professional education.
• Students must be eligible to receive Zakat under Sharia guidelines.
• Students should have passed at least Class 12th / equivalent from any Board.
• Preference will be given to Students who pursue higher education in the Professional disciplines of Medical, Law, Journalism, Engineering, with special preference given to Top Universities or Colleges in India like IITs, IIMs, IISC or GLC and others recognized by UGC/ AICTE.
• It would also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes at Graduation level.

• The Scholarship will be awarded only to Meritorious and Needy Students after complete background verification.

• A minimum of top 300+ meritorious and needy students will be given a minimum of INR 10,000 (one-time) for their studies.

Process for Application

1. The Scholarship applications will be filled as a ‘Cause’ on the IndiaZakat.com portal (www.indiazakat.com) by the needy students.
2. These causes will be promoted by IndiaZakat amongst its Donors as well as on Social Media.
3. The needy students will thus have further chances of getting more funds inshaAllah, through Crowd-Funding of their causes on the IndiaZakat platform other than the AMP Scholarship Fund.
4. The background verification will be done by local AMP Chapters.
5. Kindly note, the Cause approval on IndiaZakat.com doesn’t guarantee the Scholarship or the Funds from Donors.
