SOF Girl Child Scholarship 2023-24
About the Program
SOF Girl Child Scholarship 2023-24 is an initiative of the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF)* for the girl students studying in Classes 1 to 10. The scholarship aims to financially assist the girl child of economically weak families so that they can continue their school education. On the basis of recommendations given by the schools across India, about 300 needy girl children will be supported with INR 5,000 each per annum (one-time).

Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must –
- be a girl child
- be studying in Classes 1 to 10
- have secured at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in the previous class of study
- have parents’ combined monthly income of less than INR 15,000
Benefits
- INR 5,000 each for a full year will be given to 300 selected girl children across India.
Documents
- Copy of previous year report card duly signed by the Principal of the recommending school
How can you apply?
Eligible candidates can apply for the opportunity by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
Step 2: Click the ‘Register’ button and fill in the required registration details. (Note – If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email Id)
Step 3: The students are requested to contact the school to apply for the opportunity.
Note – The schools will send a proposal recommending a girl for the scholarship. The duly signed recommendation by the Head Master/Head Mistress/Principal will be sent by the school to SOF at the below-mentioned address –
