About the Program

Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program 2023-24 is an initiative by Legrand under its CSR initiative to provide financial support to meritorious girl students, differently-abled girl students and transgender students to help them pursue their higher education. Under this program, academically promising girl students who have chosen to pursue B.Tech/BE/B.Arch./other graduation (Finance or Science) – BSC/BCOM/BBA/etc. will receive 60% of the annual course fee up to INR 60,000 per year and students in the special category* will receive 80% of the annual course fee up to INR 1,00,000 per year till the completion of their course based on their academic performances

*Special category: Differently-abled students/transgender students/students with single parents/students who lost their parents due to COVID.

Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program 2023-24

Eligibility

  • Open for girl students across India only.
  • Applicants must have gotten admission in B.Tech/BE/B.Arch./BBA/B.Com/B.Sc. (Math and Science) degrees in India.
  • Applicants must have passed out Class 12 in the year 2022–2023. 
  • Applicants must have secured a minimum of 70% and above marks in Class 10 and 12 examinations. Exceptions will be given to differently-abled girl students and transgender students. 
  • Annual family income of the applicant from all sources must be less than INR 5,00,000.

NOTE: Preference will be given to students from the special category.

*Special category: Differently-abled students/transgender students/students with single parents/students who lost their parents due to COVID.

Benefits

  • 60% of annual course fees up to INR 60,000 per year (whichever is less) till the completion of the course will be provided to girl students based on their academic performance.
  • 80% of annual course fees up to INR 1,00,000 per year (whichever is less) till the completion of the course will be awarded to the special category* students based on academic performance.
  • Job opportunities can also be provided to students from the special category* at the end of their graduation who qualify all basic job requirements for a particular role.

About the Program

‘Rolls-Royce Unnati Scholarship for Women Engineering Students’ is an initiative of Rolls-Royce India Pvt. Ltd. to financially support meritorious girl students in completing their engineering program. The scholarship is aimed at helping girl students studying in the 1st/2nd/3rd year of undergraduate engineering degree program at an AICTE-recognized institution in India. The eligible girl students are entitled to receive a scholarship of INR 35,000 to cover the academic expenses during their engineering program. In addition to providing financial assistance through this scholarship, the program extends mentorship support to eligible applicants from the top professionals at Rolls-Royce India.

About the Program

Indus Towers Scholarship Program 2023 is a CSR initiative of Indus Towers Ltd (formerly Bharti Infratel Ltd), implemented by the Shishu Sarothi Centre for Rehabilitation and Training to support the education of disabled students.

The program has two specific categories, Category I and II. Category I consists of students from the North-East region of India, i.e. Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Sikkim, and Tripura. And category II consists of students belonging to other states in India and studying in any of the Indian Institutions of National Importance (INIs).

Selected candidates will receive financial assistance towards fee repayments and other benefits.

Indus Towers Scholarship 2023

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must – 

  • be a disabled student
  • belong to the North-Eastern states of India i.e. Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura OR
  • belong to India, (except North-East India) studying in Institutes of National Importance (INIs)
  • be between 14 and 30 years of age
  • have benchmark disability, i.e. 40% and above as per the disability certificate
  • have passed Class 10/HSLC/preceding examination with at least 55% or equivalent CGPA score of 6.25
  • belong to a BPL or low-income group i.e. annual income not exceeding INR 6,00,000

Benefits

A total number of 180 scholarships will be distributed amongst the students of Category I and II in the ratio of 9:1 (i.e 162:18). The selected candidates will receive the following benefits-

  • Academic fees (will be paid directly to the institution)
  • Additional support for specific requirements of study materials, assistive equipment and devices, conveyance allowance and hostel fees, based on available funds

About the Program

Sashakt Scholarship 2023 is an opportunity offered by Dr. Reddy’s Foundation (NGO) to encourage young women across India to pursue a career in science. The scholarship is a one-of-its-kind initiative to encourage young women across India to prepare for and pursue a career in science.         GSK Scholars Programme 2023-24 is a CSR initiative of the GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd. focused towards providing financial assistance to meritorious and financially constrained students enabling them to pursue a career in Medicine. This programme aims to support the skill-building initiative of the country and advance  Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathemetics (STEM) education in India.
