Indus Towers Scholarship 2023
About the Program
Indus Towers Scholarship Program 2023 is a CSR initiative of Indus Towers Ltd (formerly Bharti Infratel Ltd), implemented by the Shishu Sarothi Centre for Rehabilitation and Training to support the education of disabled students.
The program has two specific categories, Category I and II. Category I consists of students from the North-East region of India, i.e. Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Sikkim, and Tripura. And category II consists of students belonging to other states in India and studying in any of the Indian Institutions of National Importance (INIs).
Selected candidates will receive financial assistance towards fee repayments and other benefits.
Indus Towers Scholarship 2023
Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must –
- be a disabled student
- belong to the North-Eastern states of India i.e. Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura OR
- belong to India, (except North-East India) studying in Institutes of National Importance (INIs)
- be between 14 and 30 years of age
- have benchmark disability, i.e. 40% and above as per the disability certificate
- have passed Class 10/HSLC/preceding examination with at least 55% or equivalent CGPA score of 6.25
- belong to a BPL or low-income group i.e. annual income not exceeding INR 6,00,000
Benefits
A total number of 180 scholarships will be distributed amongst the students of Category I and II in the ratio of 9:1 (i.e 162:18). The selected candidates will receive the following benefits-
- Academic fees (will be paid directly to the institution)
- Additional support for specific requirements of study materials, assistive equipment and devices, conveyance allowance and hostel fees, based on available funds
Note: – The scholarship will be allocated as per fee declaration by the educational institution in the “Information Release Form”.

- Pass Certificate/Marksheet of Graduation Examination (if applicable)
- Pass Certificate/Marksheet of Postgraduation examination (if applicable)
- Admission Fee receipt of the course of the current semester (if applicable)
- Marksheet of the last semester’s examination appeared (if applicable)
Note –
- Documents marked (*) are mandatory.
- The documents to be uploaded at the time of online application should be below 500KB in size and in .jpg, .png, or .pdf format.
How to apply?
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
Step 2: Click the ‘Register’ button and fill in the required registration details. (Note – If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Navigate to the ‘Apply Now‘ button under the ‘Apply Now‘ section and click on it.
Step 4: Now navigate to the ‘Apply‘ button under Category I/II, whichever the applicant is eligible to apply for.
Step 5: Fill in the required details, upload the relevant documents and submit.
Offline Process –
Step 1: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
Step 2: Navigate to ‘Downloads’ on the right side of the dashboard.
Step 3: Download the application form under the eligible category.
Step 4: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and send them to the below-mentioned address –
