About the Program

SSP Scholarship is floated by the Karnataka government that has two segments, SSP pre matric scholarship 2023-24 and SSP post matric scholarship 2023-24. These are means-based schemes that are meant to provide financial assistance to students who are stuck within monetary constraints. The SSP Post Matric Scholarship 2023-24 will enable students from Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories to receive monetary benefits to pursue their post-secondary education.

The objective of SSP Post Matric Scholarship 2023-24 is to strengthen the education of students of the state and ensure a high literacy rate. The SSP scholarship program includes assistance to the primary, secondary and vocational levels of education, generating more efficiency among the youth.

How to apply for the SSP Post Matric scholarship 2023-24?

The application for the SSP Post Matric Scholarship 2023-24 is available online on the official website. The applicants must be ready with the following documents before applying for the scholarship:

  1. Marksheet of the course pursuing
  2. Bonafide certificate
  3. Fee receipt of the tuition fees
  4. Certificate of the hostel accommodation
  5. Parents’ income certificate
  6. Caste/EWS Certificate
  7. AADHAR card of applicant and parents

The first step of the application process is registration in order to create an account on the portal of SSP scholarship.

  1. Visit the official website to register yourself and create an account.
  2. Insert all the information pertaining to your AADHAR card and your contact number.
  3. You will have to verify your identification with the OTP you receive on your mobile number.
  4. Create an account filling all the basic details.

After the registration process, you will need to login to the SSP portal and apply for the scholarship in the following ways:

  1. Using the user ID and password, login to the website .
  2. You can then have access to the “Student Account” page.
  3. On this page, you will need to upload the documents (the documents mentioned under “how to apply for the scholarship?”).
  4. You must enter all the accurate information and read the details carefully after which you “save and proceed”.
  5. Verify the details and click on “submit”.

About the Program

The Government of Karnataka has initiated the SSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2023-24 to provide financial assistance to underprivileged students in Class 9 & 10. The scholarship aims to support these students by directly transferring the scholarship amount to their bank accounts.

Students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC) are eligible for the SSP Pre Matric Scholarship. Eligible students can apply for this scholarship by enrolling on the State Scholarship Portal. It is maintained by the Karnataka government. Students can submit applications for pre-matriculated scholarships via the official website – bcwd.karnataka.gov.in.

SSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2023-24

Eligibility

  • Candidates should belong to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC).
  • Candidates should be pursuing studies from Class 9 & Class 10.
  • The family income of the candidate should not exceed INR 1 lakh per annum.
  • Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their last qualifying examination. Class 1 students are excluded from meeting these eligibility criteria to be eligible for the scholarship.
  • The parents of the candidates who are not in regular jobs and are unable to provide basic requirements like education to their children are eligible for the scholarship.
  • The candidate should be a domicile in Karnataka.

Application Process

  • Interested candidates need to visit the official website of the SSP Pre Matric scholarship 
  • They need to create an account to proceed further with the registration process and select ‘Pre-Matric’ options on the homepage.
  • Candidates need to enter their SATS ID and click on the ‘Get Data’ tab.
  • Candidates need to check the data displayed on the screen and then click yes to move forward if the entire data is correct.
  • Next candidates need to enter a mobile number to generate an OTP.
  • Using the OTP candidates need to put the password according to the guidelines and click on the submit button.
  • User id and password will be generated for each candidate once the OTP is verified.
  • Generated ID and password will be shared with all the candidates on their registered mobile numbers.

How to create an account on SSP Scholarship Portal 2023-24?

  • Interested candidates need to visit the official website of the State Scholarship Portal (SSP)
  • Next, they need to choose Pre Matric Scholarship by clicking on the required link.
  • Then, they need to click on the ‘Create Account’ tab.
  • Candidates need to select yes if they have their Aadhaar number.
  • Next, they need to enter the details related to Aadhaar and click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
  • Candidates need to enter their mobile number and email id.
  • Then an OTP will be generated and sent to the registered mobile number.
  • Next, the candidates need to fill in their basic information like nationality, caste and other details.
  • After filling up all the information and saving it, the account will be created.

  • Candidates need to use their generated id and password to login into the SSP Pre Matric Scholarship portal.
  • Under the students’ login page candidates need to provide basic information like Aadhar details, caste certificate, income certificate, NSP ID and all other mandatory personal details.

About the Program

Reliance Foundation Scholarship program 2023-24 has been providing scholarships to meritorious students for over 25 years, inspired by Reliance Founder-Chairman Shri Dhirubhai Ambani’s belief that the best way to ensure the nation’s progress is to invest in its youth.

In 2022-2023, Reliance Foundation Scholarship will support up to 5,000 meritorious undergraduate students from underprivileged sections of society studying any stream of their choice through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships, and up to 100 of India’s brightest postgraduate students studying eligible subjects in new technologies through the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships.

Both Reliance Foundation Scholarship will aim to nurture and empower meritorious students and will work together to generate robust, vibrant and engaged alumni networks, enabling scholars to pursue higher education, emerge as young professionals, and drive India’s growth.

Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships

The Reliance Foundation for Undergraduate Scholarships aim to support up to 5,000 meritorious students based on a merit-cum-means criteria for their undergraduate college education, empowering them to continue their studies without financial burden. The Scholarships aim to enable students to become successful professionals and realize their dreams, unlocking their potential to lift themselves and their communities up and contributing towards India’s future socio-economic development.

Students with a household income of under Rs. 15 lakh who are enrolled in first year of their undergraduate studies pursuing any subject stream can apply. The programme will also aim to encourage applications by girls and specially-abled students.

Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships

The Reliance Foundation Scholarship for Postgraduate Students  aim to enable and propel India’s future leaders who can think big, think green, think digital for the benefit of society.

Through this Scholarship, Reliance Foundation will select up to 100 students in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Sciences, Mathematics & Computing, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable and New Energy, Material Sciences and Engineering, and Life Sciences on the basis of merit through a rigorous selection process. 

The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships will support students with a generous grant and a holistic development programme, including expert interactions, industry exposure and volunteering opportunities, creating a cohort of excellence innovate for social good each year.

Reliance Foundation Scholarship for Undergraduate Students  2023-24

  • Students must be enrolled in first-year full-time undergraduate degree in any stream from a recognised Indian institute.
  • Must have passed class 12 with a minimum of 60% marks
  • The annual household income should be less than INR 15,00,000 (preference will be given to those students whose family income is less than INR 2,50,000)

    About the Program

    Philips Scholarship Program 2022-23 is an initiative of Philips to support meritorious students from economically weaker families to pursue their education in the healthcare field. Under this scholarship, students who are pursuing courses such as MBBS, BDS, Nursing, B.Pharm, BAMS, BHMS or any healthcare related courses will be entitled to receive a fixed scholarship amount of INR 50,000 to cover their academic expenses.

    Philips, a focused leader in health technology, is offering this Philips Scholarship program as part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative. It has been improving the people’s health and well-being through its meaningful innovation.     About the Program

    ‘Saksham Scholarship Program for Drivers’ Children’ 2023-24 is an initiative by Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Limited (MMFSL) to provide financial assistance to the children of drivers’ community to support them in continuing their education. Mahindra Finance believes in empowering the academic and career goals of children of drivers by removing the financial barrier. The scholarship is open for students from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka, who are studying in Classes 1 to 12, graduation, and postgraduation levels. The selected scholars will be provided with a one-time (fixed) financial assistance of up to INR 20,000 to cover their academic expenses.

    MMFSL, a part of the Mahindra Group, is one of India’s leading non-banking finance companies operating in rural and semi-urban India. The company has introduced this scholarship program as part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Flagship program “Swabhimaan” with an objective to financially support underprivileged children/wards of drivers’ community in continuing their education.

    Saksham Scholarship Program for Postgraduate Students 2023-24

    • Open for students from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka.
    • Applicants must be studying in any year of their postgraduation courses (both general and professional).
    • Applicants must have secured 60% and above marks in their previous class.
    • One of the parents should be a driver (all light motor vehicles and small commercial vehicles such as Taxi, Jeep, Car & delivery vans such as Pickup, magic, school van, etc.) and should hold a valid driving license.
    • Annual family income of the applicants from all sources should not be more than INR 3,00,000.

    Note:

    • Preference will be given to girl students.
    • Scholarships will be granted to a maximum of two students per family.
    • Children or family members of Mahindra Finance & Buddy4Study are not eligible.
    • INR 20,000 for 1 year
    • Marksheet of the previous qualifying examination
    • Photo identity proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID card, driving license, PAN card)
    • Proof of family income (Form 16A, income certificate from a government authority, salary slips, etc.)
    • Admission proof (Fee receipt, admission letter, institution ID card, bonafide certificate)
    • Bank account details of the applicant (cancelled cheque, passbook copy)
    • Commercial driving license (for taxi, cab, minivan, school van, magic/pick-up, etc.)
    • Contract copy or income proof or employee ID card (for cab driver’s profile if they don’t possess a commercial driving license)
    • Address proof (Domicile certificate, residential certificate, telephone bill, ration card)
    • Photograph of the applicant

    • Log in to Buddy4Study using a registered ID to land onto the ‘Online Application Form Page’.
      • If not registered – Register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile number/Gmail account
    • You will now be directed to the ‘Saksham Scholarship Program for Drivers’ Children’ application form page.
    • Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to initiate the application process.
    • Fill in all the required details in the online scholarship application form.
    • Upload the required documents.
    • Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.
