About the Program

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program from Sarojini Damodaran Foundation supports the college education of meritorious students from economically challenged families. The students are selected after completion of 10th grade /SSLC through a rigorous selection process including test and interview. Currently Vidyadhan program has around 5000 students across the following states: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi and Ladhak.

Those selected will be eligible for two year scholarship from the Foundation. If they continue to do well, they will be given scholarship for pursuing any degree course of their interest; these scholarships are directly through the foundation or external sponsors who have registered with the Foundation. The scholarship amount for graduation courses varies from Rs 10,000 to Rs 60,000 per year depending on the state, course, duration etc. The selected students will be required to attend the mentoring programs from the Foundation.

The scholarship amount for 11th and 12th grade will be a maximum of Rs. 10000/year.

Who Can Apply?

Andhra Pradesh Intermediate (1st year) Program 2023 -24

Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs and who have completed their 10th grade/SSC exam in the year 2023 from Andhra Pradesh. They should also have scored 90% or obtained 9 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC examination. The cutoff mark for students with disability is 75%. or 7.5 CGPA

Bihar plus-2 (1st year) Program 2023-24

Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs and who have completed their 10th grade/BSEB exam in the year 2023 from Bihar. They should also have scored 75% or obtained 7.5 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC examination. The cutoff mark for students with disability is 65%. or 6.5 CGPA

Karnataka 11th Program for 2023-24

Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs and who have completed their 10th grade/SSLC exam in the year 2023 from Karnataka. They should also have scored 90% or obtained 9 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSLC examination. The cut off mark for students with disability is 75%.

Odisha Plus-2 (1st Year) Program 2023-24

Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs and who have completed their 10th grade/HSC exam in the year 2023 from Odisha. They should also have scored 80% or obtained 8 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC examination. The cutoff mark for students with disability is 65%. or 6.5 CGPA

Tamil Nadu Plus 1 Program - 2023-24

Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs and who have completed their 10th std /SSLC exam in the year 2023 from Tamil Nadu. They should also have scored 80% in their 10th Std / SSLC examination or 90% / 9+ CGPA for CBSE Students. The cut-off mark for students with disability is 60%.

Telangana Intermediate (1st year) Program 2023-24

Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs and who have completed their 10th grade/SSC exam in the year 2023 from Telangana. They should also have scored 90% or obtained 9 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC examination. The cutoff mark for students with disability is 75%. or 7.5 CGPA

Puducherry Plus 1 Program - 2023-24

Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs and who have completed their 10th std /SSLC exam in the year 2023 from Puducherry. They should also have scored 80% in their 10th Std / SSLC examination or 90% / 9+ CGPA for CBSE Students. The cut-off mark for students with disability is 60%.

Selection Process

SDF will shortlist the applicants based on the academic performance and the information provided in the application form. The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short online test/interview

How To Apply?

  1. You need to have a personal Email Account to apply online. DO NOT USE THE EMAIL ID of cyber café/DTP centre since all future communications will be sent to the registered email id. If you do not have an email ID, please create a new account in www.gmail.com or with any other email service providers. Please memorize the email login and password for future use.
  2. While registering a new account you will be asked for details like:
    1. First Name: Please mention your first name as per your educational records.
    2. Last Name: Please mention your last name as per your educational records.
    3. Email ID: Please mention your email address and do not forget to regularly check this email account for our intimation. For future login, use the email id.
    4. Vidyadhan Password: Please choose a complex password for the user name you have created above. The Password should have at least 8 characters. This password is not same as the password you have created for the email id. When you log into the vidyadhan application next time, you have to use the email id and the vidyadhan password you have created. Please remember it; do not write it anywhere for security reasons. If you forget the password then you can retrieve it by clicking “Forgot Password” link in the Home Page.
  3. Click on “Apply Now ” button. An email will be sent to your email account with account activation link.
  4. Please open your email in a new window and open the account activation email. Click on the activation link provided in that email. This will open the home page with a message that Account is activated and a login form to proceed further.
  5. Please login with the email id and the vidyadhan password that you have entered in Step 2 above while registering a new account.
  6. After you login you can see a link “Help” on the main menu. You can click on that link to read help and instructions for creating an application, updating and tracking it.
  7. Please select the appropriate scholarship program from the list available programs and click on the ‘Apply Now’ button to create your application.
  8. After creating the application you can edit it and make changes by clicking on Edit Application on top of the application.
  9. After you complete the application and submit, you will get a message “submission successful”. However please note that the application will be considered complete only after you upload the mandatory documents and photograph.
  10. Please check your email regularly for communication and updates from SDF.

About the Program

‘Saksham Scholarship Program for Drivers’ Children’ 2023-24 is an initiative by Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Limited (MMFSL) to provide financial assistance to the children of drivers’ community to support them in continuing their education. Mahindra Finance believes in empowering the academic and career goals of children of drivers by removing the financial barrier. The scholarship is open for students from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka, who are studying in Classes 1 to 12, graduation, and postgraduation levels. The selected scholars will be provided with a one-time (fixed) financial assistance of up to INR 20,000 to cover their academic expenses.

MMFSL, a part of the Mahindra Group, is one of India’s leading non-banking finance companies operating in rural and semi-urban India. The company has introduced this scholarship program as part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Flagship program “Swabhimaan” with an objective to financially support underprivileged children/wards of drivers’ community in continuing their education.

Saksham Scholarship Program for Class 1-8 Students 2023-24

  • Open for students from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Karnataka.
  • Applicants must be studying in Class 1 to 8.
  • One of the parents should be a driver (all light motor vehicles and small commercial vehicles such as Taxi, Jeep, Car & delivery vans such as Pickup, magic, school van, etc.) and should hold a valid driving license.
  • Annual family income of the applicants from all sources should not be more than INR 3,00,000.

Note:

  • Preference will be given to girl students.
  • Scholarships will be granted to a maximum of two students per family.
  • Children or family members of Mahindra Finance & Buddy4Study are not eligible.

About the Program

Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023-24 Kotak Kanya Scholarship is a collaborative CSR Project of Kotak Mahindra Group companies and Kotak Education Foundation to promote education and livelihood among economically disadvantaged sections of society. This scholarship aims to offer financial assistance to meritorious girl students from low-income families to empower them to pursue higher studies in the field of professional education after Class 12.

Under Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023, girl students who have passed Class 12 and aspire to pursue professional graduation courses (including Engineering, MBBS, Architecture, Design, integrated LLB, etc) from institutes of repute (NAAC/NIRF accredited) will be provided scholarship of  Rs. 1.5 lakh* per year to pay their educational expenses till the completion of their graduation (degree). 

Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023-24

Eligibility

  • Open for girl students across India.
  • Applicants must have scored 85% or more marks or equivalent CGPA in Class 12 board examination.
  • Applicant’s annual family income must be Rs. 6,00,000 (Rupees Six Lakh) or less.
  • Meritorious girl students who have secured admission to first-year graduation programs in the Academic Year – 2023 from institutes of repute (NIRF/NAAC accredited) for professional academic pursuits such as professional graduation courses like:
    • Engineering
    • MBBS
    • Integrated LLB (5 years) or 
    • Other professional courses (Design, Architecture etc)
  • Children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation & Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply for Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023.

Benefits

Scholarship amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh* per year will be given to each selected scholar till completion of her professional graduation course/degree. The scholarship amount under Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023 should be utilized to cover academic expenses, including tuition fees, hostel fees, internet, transportation,  laptop, books and stationery.

About the Program

Yuva Unstoppable Scholarship 2023-24 is a holistic scholarship program that supports the higher secondary education of meritorious students for economically challenged families. The scholarship program identifies the most deserving candidates through a well-rounded selection process, gives away scholarships, monitors & evaluates the progress of students and also facilitates capacity building among these students.

Scholarships are provided for a period of 6 years to the selected students. The financial support covers school fees, tuition fees, books, stationery and all other education related expenses incurred by the student.

Yuva Unstoppable Scholarship 2023-24

Eligibility

  • Boys and Girls of All Communities
  • Students currently studying in 1st PUC, 1st Year Diploma and 1st Year ITI courses are eligible.
  • Students must have secured 80% and above in 10th Std / SSLC Board Exam.
