About the Program

Nursing Scholarship, Sasakawa India 2023-24 is an initiative of the Sasakawa-India Leprosy Foundation (S-ILF) for B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) & GNM students residing in self-settled leprosy colonies. The selected students will receive monthly/annual financial support.

Eligibility

not be below 17 years of age at the time of application
have had leprosy or at least one parent had the disease
be residing in a self-settled leprosy colony
be pursuing B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) & GNM degree
be beginning studies/courses in the academic year 2021-22
be a first-year applicant beginning studies in the academic year 2022-21

*Desclaimer – Applicants opting for B.Sc. (Basic Nursing) must have cleared their higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized school with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

About the Program

ONGC Scholarship 2023-24 to Meritorious Students is an initiative of ONGC Foundation that aims to financially support meritorious students belonging to SC/ST/OBC and General categories pursue their higher studies. Under this scholarship, the students studying in the first year of Engineering, MBBS, MBA or Master in Geophysics/Geology programme are provided with a scholarship of INR 48,000 per annum to complete their education.

About the Program

Jyoti Prakash Scholarship 2023-24 is an initiative of Buddy4Study India Foundation to support students with disabilities, transgender students, first-generation learners, orphans, single-parent children, and sportspersons to help them cover their educational/sports expenses and enable them to fulfill their dreams. Under this program, students who are currently studying in Class 9 to 12, graduation, or postgraduation courses; and sportspersons are eligible to apply for a scholarship of up to INR 24,000 to cover their academic/sports expenses. The students will also be informed about other relevant scholarship programs available on Buddy4Study platform.

Jyoti Prakash Scholarship 2023-24 for Orphans & Single-Parent Children

Students who have lost either or both of their parents.
Applicants must be studying in Class 9-12, graduation, or postgraduation courses.
Applicants must have secured at least 55% marks in their previous qualifying examination.
For single-parent children, the annual family income must be less than INR 6 lakh whereas for orphans, the annual income of their guardian must be less than INR 3 lakh.

About the Program

NSP Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minorities 2023-24 is an initiative for the Class 11 to Ph.D. students of minority communities. The scholarship is being offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. The scholarship will be awarded for studies in India in a Government or private school including residential Government institutes and eligible private institutes that have been selected and notified by the respective State Government and Union Territory administration in a transparent manner. The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses. The selected candidates will receive admission/tuition fees and maintenance allowance.

NSP Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities 2023-24

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must –

belong to the minority community (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, and Zoroastrian/Parsi)
be studying in Class 11,12, graduate, postgraduate, technical or vocational courses, M.Phil. or Ph.D. degree
Have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination
Have an annual family income of less than INR 2.5 lakh from all the sources

Benefits

The selected candidates will receive the scholarship in the following way –

Rate of Scholarship Admission and Tuition Fee –

Admission and tuition fee Class 11 and 12 – INR 7,000 per annum subject to actuals (both Hosteller & Day Scholar)
Admission and course/tuition fee for technical and vocational courses of 11 and 12 level (Courses of one or more years of duration) – INR 10,000 per annum subject to actuals (both Hosteller & Day Scholar)
Admission and tuition fee for UG & PG level – INR 3,000 per annum subject to actuals (both Hosteller & Day Scholar)

Maintenance Allowance –

For Class 11 and 12 including Tech. & Voc. Course* – INR 380 per month for Hosteller & INR 230 per month for Day Scholar
For Courses other than Tech. & Prof. courses at UG & PG level* – INR 570 per month for Hosteller & INR 300 per month for Day Scholar
For M.Phil & Ph.D.* – INR 1,200 per month for Hosteller & INR 550 per month for Day Scholar

*Note – For 10 months in an academic year.

About the Program

Sydney Scholars India Scholarship Program 2023-24 is an opportunity offered by the University of Sydney for Indian undergraduate/postgraduate applicants. This program intends to foster engagement between the University and India in terms of investment, research, collaboration with industry partners and deepening the commitment to education for students to achieve their full potential. A total of 28 scholarships will be awarded to the selected students with a value of up to AUD 40,000 each for a specific duration.
