About the Program
Ministry Of Minority Affairs Scholarship (MOMA) 2023-24. The MOMA Scholarships are established by the Ministry of Minority Affairs with the aim of assisting minority groups, such as Christians, Buddhists, Jains, Muslims, Sikhs, and Zoroastrians (Parsis) who are students. These scholarships cover a range of educational levels, including Pre-Matric grants, Post-Matric grants, and Merit-cum-Means Scholarships tailored for Professional and Technical Courses. Successful applicants of these scholarships for national minorities have the opportunity to receive awards amounting to a maximum of Rs. 20,000 annually.

Scholarship Details
Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities:
- Applicable for students in grades 1st to 10th.
- Required to have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in the previous final examination.
- Family’s annual income should not exceed INR 1 Lakh.
Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities:
- Designed for students in class 11th and 12th.
- Must be enrolled in technical/vocational training courses at NCVT-affiliated ITI/Industrial Training Centers.
- Family’s annual income should not exceed INR 2 Lakhs.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Technical Courses CS and Professional:
- Available for students admitted to technical/professional courses at the graduate or postgraduate level.
- Required to have attained a minimum of 50% marks in the previous final examination.
- Family’s annual income should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakhs.
Pre-Matric Scholarship (Class 1 to Class 10)
Pre-Matric Scholarship:
- Aids minority students in grades 1 to 10 at the pre-matric level.
- Offers grants up to Rs. 600 per month.
Eligibility:
- Family income should not exceed Rs. 1 Lakh.
- Minimum 50% score in the previous final exam.
Post-Matric Scholarship (Class 11 and above)
Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities:
- Intended for minority students in , pursuing Ph.D.
- Provides annual scholarships of up to Rs. 10,000.
- Maintenance allowance of up to Rs. 1200 per month.
Eligibility:
- Family income not exceeding Rs. 2 Lakhs.
- Minimum 50% score in the previous final exam.
Merit cum-Means Scholarship for Technical Courses CS and Professional
Merit cum-Means Scholarship for Technical Courses CS and Professional:
- Targeted at students pursuing graduate or postgraduate professional/technical courses.
- Offers scholarships up to Rs. 20,000 per year.
Eligibility:
- Family’s annual income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lakhs
