Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must – 

• Candidate should have passed SSC/HSC or equivalent examinations in the 10th /12th standard with more than 60% marks.
• Candidate should have secured admission in a government or any other recognised Polytechnic Institute for diploma course.
• Only first year candidates are eligible to apply.
• The candidate should belong to a family with low yearly income.

Please note:

• Preference will be given to girl students, children from lower income group families, differently abled children, and children of armed forces personnel or other Central Armed Police Forces.
• The application form needs to be filled online and the documents requested should also be uploaded while submitting the application form.

Benefits

• The selected students will be awarded Rs. 10,000/- per annum for 3 years

Documents

• Proof of admission from Polytechnic where admission has been secured:
  • Admission letter
  • Fee receipt
  • Bonafide student certificate
• Testimonial (Recommendation letter) from any one of the two referees (teacher/employer)
• A short statement about your general aptitude and interest, the type of vocation you would like to pursue, and your ambitions and aspirations in life.
• Copies of academic documents:
  • Copy of Mark Sheet of Std. 10th
  • Copy of Mark Sheet of Std. 12th (If applicable)
• Financial documents:
  • Family Income certificate copy or proof of income
  • Copy of the first page of passbook or canceled cheque
• Identification document:
  • Aadhar card copy
