Chatrapati Rajaram Maharaj Sarathi Scholarship 2023-24
Scholarship Description
The Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Institute of Research, Training and Human Development (SARATHI) offers the Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj Sarathi Scholarship. This scholarship is for students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade who have taken the NMMS exam but didn’t receive the scholarship.
Elegibility
- Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj Sarathi Scholarship is open for Maratha, Kunbi, Kunbi Maratha, and Maratha Kunbi students who have cleared the NMMS exam, are in class 9, and not receiving Central Government scholarship.
- Eligible class 10 students from the mentioned groups should have scored at least 550 marks in class 9 annual exams.
- Class 11 students, who have secured 60% marks in class 10 exams, can also apply for this scholarship.
- For class 9 students, combined annual income of parents should be less than Rs. 3,50,000; for class 10 and 11 students, family income should be below Rs. 1,50,000 for the year 2022-2023.
- Students who’ve already received NMMS scholarship from the Central Government are not eligible.
- The scholarship is only for students in government, government-recognized, and aided local self-government schools in Maharashtra.
- Students from unaided, self-financed schools, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, government hostel beneficiaries, and military school students are not eligible.
- In cases of joint family income certificates, the student’s relation and name must be clearly mentioned, along with attaching the ration card for proof. Other students don’t need to attach a ration card.
Documents
- The student’s original Aadhaar Card.
- A photocopy of the first page of their bank passbook showing their name, account number, and IFSC code.
- A letter of recommendation signed by their school’s Headmaster or Principal, following the given format.
- A valid income certificate for the student’s parents, for the year 2022-2023, signed by the Tehsildar.
- The NMMS Exam Pass Mark Sheet or Result Sheet.
- If they are in 11th grade, their Class 10th Marksheet is needed.
- If they are in 10th grade, their Class 9th Marksheet is required.
