Criteria for Eligibility
- Indian citizenship
- Belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), and De-Notified Tribes category
- For Class 9: Born between 1st April 2007 and 31st March 2011 (both days inclusive)
- For Class 11: Born between 1st April 2005 and 31st March 2009 (both days inclusive)
- Currently studying in Classes 9 or 11
- Enrolled in a top school recognized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment
- Passed Classes 8 and 10 in the academic year 2022-23
- Annual family income less than INR 2,50,000
Benefits
The selected students will receive annual benefits in the following sequence –
- Selected students of Class 9/10 will receive up to INR 75,000.
- Selected students of Class 11/12 will receive up to INR 1,25,000
Note – The scholarship award follows the policy set by the State Government or Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. NTA is not involved in the scholarship selection process.
